Elmex Caries Junior Toothpaste, 75 ml, pack of 2

Elmex Caries Junior is a toothpaste specifically formulated for children aged 6 to 12, containing amine fluoride and 1,400 ppm of fluoride, which protects permanent teeth during the transition from milk teeth to permanent teeth.

What is it for?

Between the ages of 6 and 12, permanent teeth have just erupted and their enamel is not yet fully mineralised, making them particularly vulnerable to tooth decay. Aminofluoride forms a protective layer of calcium fluoride on the enamel, promotes its remineralisation and inhibits the metabolism of plaque-forming bacteria. Its mild flavour makes it easy for children to accept and helps establish a daily brushing routine.

Directions for use

Brush teeth twice a day, morning and night, for at least two minutes, using a pea-sized amount of toothpaste. Adult supervision is recommended to ensure correct brushing technique and to prevent the child from swallowing the toothpaste.

Composition

Active ingredient: amine fluoride. Fluoride content: 1400 ppm.

Warnings

Do not swallow. Suitable for children aged 6 to 12 years. Keep out of reach of younger children and consult a paediatric dentist if the child is taking fluoride supplements.
